Who delivered our Parish Family’s Thanksgiving food/produce display donations to Community Care. The total weight recorded was 124 lbs.

Folks, just a reminder that when putting tables away following an event, please ensure they are wiped and rinsed clean. If you happen to see any marks, please attempt to remove them. If you find it too hard to remove, please let me know. And please be careful when you put them away. If you need help, please ask someone. Another table was found broken from misuse during folding it down. Thanks! Ray

Games afternoon. Oct 4 2:00-4:00. Bring your favourite game to share. Snacks will be provided.

Thank You to everyone who helped in anyway. Team work! We raised $1,368 and possibly more as a few people are trying to take some items and list them on Marketplace & Kijiji and are also taking some items to resellers who might purchase a few items. We will update as things progress.

Family Meal Kit Program

Volunteers urgently needed to purchase, pack and deliver 24 family meal kits for the needy to Thorold Community Care. Typically, each volunteer delivers once every 3 weeks on either Monday or Wednesday morning. Please contact Byron Nicholson at 905-684-1077 to volunteer or for more information.

This Sunday BBQ after the 10:30 service please bring your own plate, cutlery and napkins, so we can keep clean up to a minimum.

We will be holding our annual summer BBQ and Potluck lunch on June 8th after the 10:30 service. Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Veggie Burgers are $3.00 each or 2/$5.00, pop will be available for $1.00. Please sign up in the foyer, indicating your name, how many burgers, hot dogs, or veggie burgers, you would like by Sunday, June 1st, so we can have the appropriate quantity on hand! There is also a sign up sheet for your potluck item! Please bring your own plate, cutlery and napkins, so we can keep clean up to a minimum.

As a reminder when you come to church on Sundays please shut your phones off.

Last chance to order your popcorn from now until Sunday, June 1st (5pm). $6 per bag or 2 for $10. Pick up on June 8th at the BBQ. Order forms can be found in the foyer. You can email your order to Kelly at treasurer.transfiguration.stcath@gmail.com or leave the form in the offertory box.

If e-transferring payment, please make sure to indicate popcorn order in the memo field. Popcorn must be paid before pickup. Any questions, please see Kelly Twerdy
